I struggle with SAD in the dark damp chill of Seattle winters. I taught annual workshops in Costa Rica until Covid; it’s our first time back since 2019. So much to love; but my gut is saying we’ll do long visits instead of moving .

Oh that’s great! We’re in a cloud forest on the other side of San Jose, Dota region, Valle de los Santos where a lot of coffee is grown 😋 we’re in a peaceful little gem of a mountain village. My kids go to a one room school house with a total of four kids in the school 😆
The twins in our Framily walk to a tiny school with 8 kids. I love village life. This enclave is truly communal, sharing the tasks and joys of daily life
