Yoga much? Share a pose for head-in-ass removal! --> Yoga not enough (though I do recommend saying yoga instead of yo as a salutations). I am a big fan of the neck roll and high reach as a quick reset. That and a good wall sit. A deep breath could be a suitable way to get your head out of your ass, but it also might stink.

How do you get your head out of a dark, scary place? --> The best way out of the dark scary place,m is to remember you are the dark scary place (and that you can be light instead). The best advice I ever gave myself was to do something different. If I am ever where I shouldn't be, doing what I shouldn't do, the best thing I can do is something else. It is a wonder what "new" can do for you (me).

Seriously, how does your creative work offer help, value, or meet a need for others? --> That is a great question I can't answer without some hope and faith that by being a me it might help others me more too. That said there is no me without you, or us? I think the reason I like being outside so much is it feels so big, so real. Homes are cozy, but tents are cozier, and under a mosquito net staring at the stars I had the best sleep I've ever had. Listening might be the key. To ourselves and especially to others. The work is growing in out up and down. If nothing else the godz are watching, right?

I agree, Paulette! Humor is magic that can melt resistance. 🙏🏼 It's easy (for me) to get super preachy, so this means a lot! Thank you so much.

First, you have the most delicious energy my friend!

I have many modalities that help with removing my head from my ass. Too many to share here, but most likely most of them you’ve heard of before.

The 3rd ask you had about how does your creative work help, value, or meet a need for others had me pause.

I get stuck on the word HELP because it’s over used in branding/marketing.

Incoming rant…

For example: “I help you live a more fulfilling life” type of elevator speeches make me cringe. Who says I need help with that? Who says you’re the person to do so. And what qualifies you to help me with living a ‘more’ fulfilling life? We all know what we need for our own fulfillment when it comes down to it.

We all have worth and bring VALUE without having to create anything. I value you as a human. I appreciate the work you do and the path you’ve chosen to share your experiences.

The NEED I meet for others is being of service to them when I’m recognized for a specific skill set and invited to share it with them.

Thanks for listening and for sharing your work as it is a blessing to all who come across it. I can feel your passion.

Thanks, Lori K - you rock! So glad you pointed out the cringe factor for that word "HELP." I feel it too. As a people-pleaser with a smidge of co-dependence, things can really get funky when one aggressively tries/offers/believes they must/should HELP. It's yet another Monkey trying to prove her worth. You said it so well: 💯 "We all have worth and bring VALUE without having to create anything."

On the positive side of the 4-letter Help word, it's been up lately as an antidote to patriarchal values: it's brave to ask for HELP.
