Hey, Mostly Brave Creatives!
Join us for compassion, courage, & connection β so we can express our wild hearts & authentic voices. Playful 5-min. practices to melt the Monkeys of Fear πππ
We want to show up with works of fierce love, beauty, and kindness, in a world that runs on fear. In a society that pressures us to be better, bigger, and braver, weβre here to boost the small, courageous, creative acts that feed our hearts and souls.
As we dream, draft, and craft our work, we say, βThis matters.β But when we step up to share our work, to hit Send or Publish or otherwise show up, we risk judgment. Rejection. What if itβs too much? Too weird? Utterly ignored? Letβs eat chips instead.
Iβm right there with you, friends. Tummy-twisting anxiety and self-talk can stop me from sharing my semi-weird, authentic voice. So I got curious. For years, Iβve studied my own fears, as well as the science and wisdom of this all-too-human suffering.
Hereβs the takeaway. Itβs also the bones of any good story:
We have a yearning to create something.
We face obstacles, inner and outer.
We can get creative and work with them. Or not.
Itβs brave to explore our limiting beliefs and inner critics, or what I affectionately call the Monkeys of Fear. I believe that befriending our Monkeys of Fear changes our world, from the inside out. Because mostly brave IS brave enough.
At Mostly Brave, weβre here to:
Develop mad skills of self-compassion and courage so you can manage your Monkeys, trust your gut, and follow your Heartβs callings, to support your craft.
Co-create a support crew who can magnify your magic with more sensitivity than friends and family who may not understand your Mostly Brave projects.
Offer inspiration, encouragement, accountability, and visibility so you can stay on your path, finish, and share your work. With less Arggg! and more Ahhhh...

Why Join our Creative Community?
Our Monkeys are inner voices of social conditioning we absorb from others in our families, schools, etc. We heal best with other brave souls who face their fears, too.
Why Join Now?
As our personal, political, and planetary poo hits the fan, we make brave beauty. Our stories and songs are medicine to balance fear and suffering. Plus, youβll avoid the top regret of the dying; letβs all grow βthe courage to live a life thatβs true to yourself, not what others expectβ¦β3 Mostly Brave is Brave Enough.
Why Join Me?
Even with Monkeys, Iβm a multi-passionate maker, former Big Media creative director, and resilience coach. My background includes Time Magazine; feature films and television; newspapers; YA fantasy novels, and performance art. My decks of creative meditations are used in therapy offices and bathrooms π© across the USA.
For over a decade, Iβve practiced trauma-informed creative healing: exploring and guiding circles devoted to inner journeys, self-compassion, mindfulness, and sound energy work. Iβm grateful for my ancestors, indigenous teachers, witchy earth-based folx, and the women and teens who trust me to support their voyage. Itβs an honor to hold space for us to share, grow, and bust a gut laughing at our human foibles. Together.
